Our client is a 10 year established executive search firm (~38 people) specialising in private equity-backed businesses (80–90% of work), focusing on senior hires across CFO/Finance, M&A/Corporate Development, and Strategy & Transformation (incl. tech transformation). They operate internationally with offices in London, Hamburg, and the US, and have a strong emphasis on cross-border delivery, cultural intelligence, and multilingual capability. The business is growing at ~40% annually and works with high-level stakeholders including C-suite and PE clients, requiring a high standard of delivery and professionalism.

The role sits within a research & delivery team (approx. 4 people + analyst support), working on retained, senior-level mandates. The environment is highly collaborative, with strong exposure to different sectors and functions rather than siloed specialisation. There is also a growing advisory arm (assessment, onboarding, pre-deal work) offering alternative career paths. Key expectations:

• Delivery-focused role with client exposure and involvement in briefings
• Work across multiple functions (CFO, COO, transformation, etc.)
• Hybrid model (~3 days in office), collaborative working style
• Performance measured via quality, speed, and delivery metrics (bonus up to ~50%, paid quarterly)
• Clear progression into client-facing / 360 or specialist advisory routes
