Senior Director – Education Recruitment Location: London
An established and growing education recruitment company is seeking an experienced Senior Director to support the leadership and expansion of its recruitment operations. This role will focus on managing an existing team of high-performing billing recruitment consultants, while also playing a key role in scaling the business into new markets through acquisition and strategic growth initiatives.

With a service-led, consultative approach, the organisation supports educators across multiple career stages and continues to expand its footprint across London and emerging regional markets.
The Senior Director will operate at a strategic and operational level, working closely with the executive team to drive performance, growth, and long-term sustainability. The successful candidate will take responsibility for leading and developing an established team of consultants, while also contributing to expansion plans through new market entry and acquisition-led growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide senior leadership to an existing team of education recruitment consultants, driving consistent billing performance and service excellence.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve team productivity, engagement, and retention.
- Oversee performance management, coaching, and succession planning within the team.
- Contribute to the identification, evaluation, and integration of acquisition opportunities.
- Lead the growth of recruitment teams in new markets, ensuring operational and cultural alignment.
- Maintain senior-level client relationships and support business development initiatives.
- Work closely with stakeholders to analyse performance data, forecasts, and financial outcomes.
- Proven senior leadership experience within education recruitment.
- Director-level background with responsibility for managing and scaling recruitment teams.
- Demonstrated success in growing teams and markets, including experience with acquisition-led expansion.
- Strong commercial acumen and strategic decision-making capability.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Able to operate effectively in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.
