Legal Desk

Location: Office-based, Billericay, Essex (5 days in the office)

Salary: Up to £32,000 basic + uncapped commission

Commission Structure:

• No commission threshold for the first 6 months
• Thereafter, 20% commission on billings

The Role

As a Recruitment Consultant on our Legal desk you will:

• Manage full-cycle recruitment (360°) for legal roles. Sourcing candidates, managing job briefs, placing into law firms/in-house legal teams.
• Proactively business develop: identify and win new clients, build and manage your client portfolio.
• Map and research the legal market to create pipelines of both candidates and clients.
• Build and foster relationships with key hiring decision-makers and legal professionals.
• Write and advertise compelling job briefs, screen and interview candidates, present shortlists, manage offers through to placement and onboarding.
• Be driven by performance, metrics and outcomes with support from the team and management.
• Work from our Billericay office five days a week to collaborate closely with colleagues, share best-practice and build momentum.

What We’re Looking For

You’ll possess:

• A strong interest in the legal sector: agency 360 experience essential in legal recruitment or a similar professional services sector.
• Ambition, resilience and sales-/business-development mindset: you enjoy meeting targets, winning new business and closing deals.
• Excellent communication skills, strong networking ability and commercial acumen.
• Organised, proactive, able to manage your own desk, pipeline and priorities.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment with autonomy.
• A team-player who also thrives working independently.
• A desire to build long-term relationships and deliver truly consultative recruitment services.
