THE MINDSET OF A CHAMPION

Congrats to one of my favourite EVER athletes; Tia-Clair Tommey

An absolutely incredible achievement as Tia-Clair Tommey won another Crossfit Games, with many saying she is the GOAT.

So what can we learn from a 'Winner' a 'Champion', a 'Badass'.......❔

Your attitude outside work is as important as it is inside work:

Training your mind is equally important and other tools.

 Perspective is important:

Make sure you love what you are doing and have the right tools and people around you to succeed (Toomey nearly quit CrossFit after one session as she didn't get one with the Coach).

✳ Not beating yourself up on days where you're not feeling it:

The fact you are there, as long as I show up, as long as you get the work done and you do your very best that day with what you have, that is all anyone can ask for. JTU (Just Turn Up)

✳ Don't put limitations on yourself:

Constantly putting the work in, working really hard to achieve a goal

✳ Winning isn't everything:

The pure focus shouldn't be about winning, but rather walking away happy with the outcome. It's not so much the destination (yes important) — it's the journey (knowing how you get there and how to stay on that path).

 Focus on improving your weaknesses:

It is important we celebrate success 100%, equally important is we are able to reflect, analysis and seek ways to help strengthen our weaknesses.

One of our AD's favourite quotes from Tia-Clair:

"Do not over complicate it. Your goals are yours. They're very different from what everyone else wants to go out and achieve."
