Who am I?

I'm a pround mum to two brilliantly sassy girls - Bella (10) and Elsie (5) - and a very devoted dog mum to our cockapoo, Stanley.

I have been in recruitment for just over 19 years. I started out in the Education sector and then moved into commerical recruitmen, covering everything from office supprt and HR to fincance and accounts, at all levels.

Over the years, I've had the chance tp build and supprt some fantastic teams, which is something I've really enjoyed. One of the things I'm most proud of is helping to design and grow apprentceship programmes, which I still have a real passion for.

Alongside juggling the joys of motherhood, I've worked with businesses across the UK and internationally, recruiting in industries from engineering to IT. Variety has always kept the job interesting for me.

Now, working in Rec2Rec, I get to connect with other recruitment professionsal who understand just how unpredictable - and addictive - this industry can be. Once recruitment gets under your skin, it's very hard to leave!

A few fun facts:

• Had drinks with Ed Sheeran at a tiny Snow Patrol gig in Florida, and years later ended up on the same flight from Vegas as the lead singer of The Killers (I’m a big fan).
• Live music and theatre are my happy places — when I’m not running around to my eldest’s endless dance classes.
• Love eating out, socialising, and I’ll rarely say no to a glass of wine.
• I’ve joined the gym a few times and only gone once… but 2025 is looking promising!
• Slightly obsessed with handbags, Christmas, and British soaps — and not ashamed to admit it.
