The Opportunity

Our client is a respected specialist recruiter working exclusively within facilities management, engineering and construction. With offices in Kent and Scotland, a strong national client base, and a team with over 100 years of combined sector experience, they have built a genuine reputation for doing things properly. As the business continues to grow, they are looking for a Senior Operations professional to join the leadership team and help take the operation to the next level.

This is a role for someone who has been in recruitment long enough to understand what good delivery looks like - and has the experience to build and maintain it at scale.

The Role

• Overseeing day-to-day operational delivery across temp, contract and permanent desks
• Supporting, mentoring and developing consultants across the business
• Working closely with directors on strategic planning, growth initiatives and business development
• Managing and improving operational processes and compliance standards
• Ensuring quality of service is maintained across all white and blue collar placements nationally

What We're Looking For

• A strong recruitment background - operational credibility comes from understanding how a desk works
• Proven experience at management or senior operations level within a specialist, technical or volume recruiter
• Knowledge of compliance requirements within FM, trades or construction is a significant advantage
• A natural communicator and people leader who can drive performance while maintaining culture
• Someone who leads by example and brings the team with them
