With over 20 years in the market, this agency has built a genuine reputation for quality delivery across some of the UK's most important infrastructure and public sector recruitment disciplines.

 They're now looking for an experienced recruiter to take ownership of a specialist desk and build something meaningful in a business that will give you the platform, the support and the autonomy to do it properly.

 The Role

You'll be joining a focused, experienced team and taking ownership of a niche market within the business's core sectors. This is a role for someone who understands that specialist recruitment is relationship-led, technically informed and genuinely consultative - not just CV-pushing.

What You'll Be Doing

• Taking ownership of a specialist desk within Civil Engineering
• Building deep, long-term candidate relationships through headhunting, networking and market mapping
• Managing the full recruitment lifecycle from brief to placement across permanent and contract roles
• Acting as a genuine market expert - advising clients on talent availability, salary benchmarking and hiring strategy
• Working with an established client base while identifying new business opportunities within your niche
• Upholding the business's reputation for honest, quality-led delivery

 What They're Looking For

• Recruitment experience - ideally within an engineering discipline
• Someone genuinely curious about their market, not just filling jobs
• Strong relationship-building skills with both candidates and client stakeholders
• Resilience and drive - you'll be working in a specialist, and niche, talent pool
• Confidence managing your own desk with real autonomy and accountability
• A collaborative mindset - this is a team environment, not a collection of individuals
