Our client is currently seeking a dedicated recruitment consultant to join his white collar construction team. This opportunity presents a warm desk, with lots of clients and candidates to run with immediately. In this role, you will be responsible for connecting qualified candidates with exciting job opportunities in the construction sector. Construction industry experience is preferred but not necessary.

Responsibilities:

Utilise your recruitment skills to source, screen, and select highly skilled white-collar MEP professionals in the construction industry

Develop and maintain relationships with clients and candidates, ensuring exceptional customer service throughout the recruitment process

Collaborate with hiring managers and clients to understand their specific requirements and provide tailored solutions

Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and construction-related news to effectively advise clients and candidates

Leverage various recruitment channels and tools to attract and engage the best talent

Utilise your negotiation skills to facilitate fair and beneficial employment offers

Requirements:

1-2 years of proven experience as a recruitment consultant preferred

In-depth industry training will be provided for the white-collar construction sector. This will quickly enable you to place candidates in positions, such as project managers, estimators, quantity surveyors, and site supervisors

Strong understanding of recruitment best practices, including sourcing strategies, candidate assessment, and interview techniques

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and candidates

The results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting targets and achieving recruitment goals

Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to address client and candidate needs

Proficiency in recruitment software and databases
