Vacancy: Legal Recruitment Consultant

Location: Sussex / Kent / Surrey (Hybrid)

Salary: Up to £35,000 basic + commission

Working Pattern: Hybrid (3 days in office) + 9-day fortnight after probation

Our client is looking for an experienced Recruitment Consultant to join their high-performing legal recruitment team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a desk with immediate demand, strong existing client relationships, and genuine scope to build something significant.

The Opportunity

You will be joining a busy legal desk with a high volume of live vacancies across Kent, Sussex and Surrey. There is more work than the current team can manage, meaning real opportunity to generate revenue from day 1.

Longer term, this is a growth hire. The team is expected to expand, with clear opportunity to develop into a more senior or account-focused position.

What You Will Be Doing

• Managing and filling a high volume of live vacancies
• Building strong relationships with existing clients
• Sourcing and engaging high-quality candidates
• Conducting candidate qualification and management
• Supporting the full recruitment process through to placement
• Carrying out BD activity where required, including candidate-led business development

What We Are Looking For

• Experience within agency recruitment (essential)
• Background in legal recruitment highly desirable but not essential
• Experience within a professional sector recruitment market preferred
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Confident speaking with clients and candidates at all levels
• Driven, proactive and able to work in a fast-paced environment
