Education Recruitment Consultant

Location: Kent

Salary: to £35,000 basic + uncapped commission

Our client, a growing and well-established recruitment agency specialising in the education sector, is seeking an Education Recruitment Consultant to join their team in Kent.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious recruiter or sales professional looking to develop their career in a fast-paced and rewarding environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting schools across Kent by placing high-quality teachers and support staff.

The Role

As an Education Recruitment Consultant, you will be responsible for managing the full recruitment cycle, building relationships with schools, and sourcing education professionals for both temporary and permanent roles.

Key Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining relationships with primary, secondary, and SEND schools across Kent
• Sourcing, interviewing, and placing teachers and support staff into suitable roles
• Winning new business through calls, meetings, and networking
• Managing existing school accounts and providing excellent service
• Advertising vacancies and attracting quality candidates
• Ensuring safeguarding and compliance checks are completed
• Working towards and achieving recruitment and sales targets

Requirements

• Previous recruitment or sales experience (education recruitment experience is advantageous)
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Target-driven with a strong work ethic
• Strong organisational and time management abilities
• Passion for the education sector and supporting schools
