Team Leader – Recruitment

Location: Crawley

Salary: £45,000 + commission and benefits 

An established and ambitious recruitment business in Crawley is looking for an experienced Team Leader to step into a newly created senior role. This is a fantastic opportunity to combine business development with people management, working closely with the Director to drive the business forward.

This is not a hands-on delivery role – the delivery function is already strong. The focus will be on leading people, developing new business opportunities, and playing a pivotal role in growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing recruitment team.
• Drive business development activity, securing new clients and building long-term relationships.
• Act as a trusted partner and right-hand to the Director.
• Support the team’s delivery while keeping your own focus on leadership and growth.
• Shape and influence business strategy as part of ambitious expansion plans.

• Proven experience managing or leading a recruitment team.
• Strong business development track record with the ability to win new business.
• Background in contract recruitment (engineering, commercial, or industrial temps) or permanent recruitment.
• Resilient, driven, and commercially astute with a collaborative approach.
• Someone who thrives in a growth environment and wants to make a tangible impact.
