Role Overview
You’ll join a dynamic and knowledgeable team dedicated to building technical and managerial teams across the automotive and EV spectrum. From graduate-level positions to senior programme management roles, you'll source, assess, and place candidates on both permanent and contract assignments globally. Your mission: align the right candidate with the right opportunity while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, compliance, and candidate experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and nurture strong relationships with both clients and candidates in the Automotive, EV, Off-Highway, and Charging infrastructure sectors.
- Proactively source and attract high-quality technical talent—from graduates to senior professionals—across the automotive supply chain.
- Conduct candidate screening, vetting, and detailed interviews to assess both expertise and cultural fit.
- Manage full-cycle recruitment: from brief to placement, including negotiations, offer management, and ongoing candidate support.
- Ensure recruitment procedures adhere to current employment and contractor laws and industry best practices.
- Deliver for global mandates—your work impacts projects worldwide, across contract and permanent roles.
- Collaborate with internal teams, share market insights, and contribute to continuous improvement in tools, training, and service delivery.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in technical or sector-focused recruitment—ideally in Automotive, EV, or Engineering fields.
- In-depth understanding of the automotive and EV landscape, including knowledge of OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, EV infrastructure, and associated technologies.
- Familiarity with permanent and contract hiring models, including payroll and contractor placement services.
- Track record of building pipelines across seniorities—from apprentices and graduates to programme-level leadership roles.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail, with confidence handling compliance and legal considerations in recruitment.
- A self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset; adept at managing multiple priorities while maintaining quality and pace.
What We Offer
- Work in a fast-paced, technically driven agency environment with long-standing client partnerships.
- Exposure to a wide spectrum of roles and sectors—from traditional automotive engineering to pioneering EV and infrastructure projects.
- Ongoing training in industry developments, recruitment innovation, and regulatory compliance.
- Opportunity to grow as a specialist recruiter, supported by a collaborative, expert-led team.
