Delivery Consultant 

Horsham, West Sussex (hybrid)

£32k basic DOE plus uncapped commission

We are Wisdom Rec2Rec, a candidate led Rec2Rec consultancy in the heart of Horsham, and we have been doing this properly since 2008. Nearly two decades in, we have the reputation, the relationships and the database to show for it. Small team, big name, zero politics.

Here is the honest version of why this role exists. We have a handful of genuinely brilliant vacancies sitting with clients who are keen, ready to move and paying really well. They are not filled yet for one simple reason: we are flat out on the candidate side and nobody has had the time to work them properly. That is the gap. That is your seat.

This is what we would call a 270 degree delivery role. You are experienced enough to own the delivery from brief to placement and, once the owning consultant is happy, to liaise directly with the client yourself. It is not a junior resourcing seat, and it is not a new business one either.

What you would actually be doing

• Taking ownership of a defined set of live vacancies and running them start to finish
• Building long lists, cutting them into strong short lists, and getting roles filled
• Sourcing, qualifying and looking after candidates through the whole process
• Once the owning consultant gives the nod, liaising directly with the client so you fully own the delivery
• Working closely alongside me and the wider team so nothing slips and nobody gets dropped

Let me be really clear on what this is not

• No business development
• No cold calling
• No winning new clients (the relationships already exist, you simply run with them)
• No pressure to bring in new business
• You focus purely on delivery, and you keep every bit of your commission for it

This part really matters

• You will need a strong recruitment background to do well here, and we are not going to pretend otherwise
• Plenty of candidates are available. The real skill, and the real value, is in finding the right ones our clients will actually want to see
• That judgement, and the confidence to deal with clients directly, only comes with proper experience, which is exactly what we are looking for
• If you already know how to source, qualify and shortlist properly, you will fly

The setup

• Properly hybrid and genuinely flexible, because for us this is far more about the right person than about your postcode
• Around two days a week in our Horsham office, occasionally a third, and we will flex around where you live
• To be upfront, this is not a fully remote role, so you do need to be able to get into Horsham regularly
• Part time friendly and parent friendly. We understand that life happens and we build the role around good people
• Grown up, adult environment with no clock watching and no micromanaging
• Early finish on Fridays
