Trainee Recruitment Consultant

Central Horsham (10-minute walk from the train station)

 £25,000–£28,000 + Uncapped Commission (10–50% of billings, no threshold)

The Role

We are looking for a Trainee Recruitment Consultant to join our growing team in Central Horsham. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded individual looking to move into recruitment and build a high-earning career through training, mentorship, and uncapped commission.

You’ll be trained across the full recruitment lifecycle, working closely with experienced consultants while developing your own client and candidate relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Proactively source and engage candidates via phone, LinkedIn, and other channels
• Conduct candidate screening interviews and manage pipelines
• Build strong, long-term relationships with candidates and clients
• Support and develop client accounts alongside senior consultants
• Learn and deliver the full recruitment process from briefing to placement
• Work towards performance and billing targets in a supportive team environment

This role requires candidates who have:

• Previous sales experience ideally within banking, insurance, or financial services preferred.
• Experience in a call centre, charity canvassing, door to door sales, telesales, outbound sales, or similar phone-based environment is essential.
• Confidence picking up the phone and speaking to people all day
• A money-motivated, target-driven mindset
• High levels of resilience, drive, and ambition
• Strong communication skills and commercial awareness

Earnings & Progression

• Base salary of £25,000–£28,000
• Uncapped commission from 10–50% of billings
• No threshold - earn commission from your first placement
