Senior Recruiter – Financial Risk Recruitment (Hybrid, 40% Commission), London (1 day in office per week)
Are you a driven recruitment professional with a deep understanding of financial risk markets and a passion for high-performance sales? A leading specialist recruitment business is seeking an ambitious Senior Recruiter to join its growing Risk Recruitment desk, delivering bespoke talent solutions to financial services clients across the UK, Europe, and beyond.
This is a key revenue-generating role for someone who thrives on building strong client relationships, owning the full recruitment cycle, and consistently hitting and exceeding targets. You’ll work within a specialist risk team that recruits across Operational, Credit, Market, Prudential, Climate and Quantitative Risk, permanent and contract, for top-tier banks, asset managers, fintechs, insurers and consultancies.
You will be expected to leverage your financial risk recruitment expertise and market intel to sell in assignments, close deals, and deliver exceptional service to both clients and candidates.
What You’ll Do
- Drive sales and billing performance by owning the full 360° recruitment desk focused on risk professionals.
- Build and nurture strong client relationships with hiring managers in banking, asset management, insurance and financial services.
- Source, shortlist and present high-calibre risk talent from analysts to leadership-level hires using consultative techniques.
- Hit and exceed revenue targets with a focus on high conversion and retention.
- Contribute to team strategy, knowledge sharing and market-leading service delivery.
- Benefit from a hybrid working model (1 day per week in the office, balance remote).
- Proven experience recruiting within financial risk disciplines (e.g., credit risk, market risk, operational risk, quant risk) ideally in a specialist or boutique environment.
- Track record of strong sales performance and deliverable billing / revenue results.
- Commercial mindset with the ability to sell into new clients and grow existing relationships.
- Excellent networking, negotiation and communication skills.
- Self-motivated, energetic and target-driven with resilience and a sense of urgency.
- Uncapped earnings potential with an industry-leading 40% commission structure.
- Partner with specialist teams in a high-growth area of recruitment where risk remains a top strategic priority for clients.
- Hybrid working model: 1 day a week in the office to collaborate with peers & build culture.
